I know the feeling. The uncertainty will probably put upward pressure on oil futures. They need to be careful on messaging and have a viable alternative if they really are considering shutting it if they want to avoid causing a disruption in the market. "Debated" is a generous word for it.
Democrats never say how good things are going other than the month after a landmark achievement. They are off to the next cause. How far have we come in regards to gay rights in the last decade? Now it's all about transgenders. I'm not saying its bad to always be pushing forward, but the messaging always sounds negative and segmented. Biden and the Democrats really could have just focused on Covid, infrastructure, and healthcare(which he could have tied to covid) and would have gotten something done by now. But instead, they went on this all-in progressive strategy and may not get anything done before they lose the senate again in a year. I swear Democrats will cut off their nose to spite their face.
Stop artificially inflating the economy. No politician is going to do it, and eventually it will be our downfall.
Since project veritas has come up a few times... DOJ investigates ties to Project Veritas in theft of Biden's daughter's diary https://news.yahoo.com/doj-investigates-ties-project-veritas-182027634.html
Yes. The problem with Democratic messaging is that they continue to make the perfect the enemy of the good. It was the same thing with ACA where so many were bemoaning what it didn’t have rather celebrating what was in it. On top of that many Democrats were openly campaigning on scrapping it. There is nothing wrong with pressing for more but there are also times to take the win in front of you. A lot of the rhetoric we hear now says that anything less than what was in the $3.5 Trillion plan is a failure. That was always a long shot as it wasn’t just Manchin and Sinema in the Democratic caucus who were skeptical. $1 trillion in infrastructure is one of the largest amounts spent on infrastructure in US history even adjusted for inflation. And there certainly is a deal for the taking of another $1.7 trillion more. Passing those aren’t failures but historic achievements.
nobody loves intimidating/spying on journalists more than the Obama/Biden/Harris DoJ O'Keefe asks an interesting question: under what purview would the FBI be investigating something as trivial as a stolen diary?
Why did the project veritas folks break into the then candidate Biden’s daughter’s home to steal her diary? Creepy! And btw, the investigation began under former attorney general william barr.
A quick google search will provide you any number of articles discussing the topic. I haven’t seem it discussed anywhere in the D&D yet though.
That is what is being investigated... https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...-probe-ashley-bidens-stolen-diary/6305405001/ o'keefe even attempts to distance himself from responsibility... first with a rather unbelievable story of a "tipster" "finding it" in an abandoned hotel room... And the whole "journalists" defense is considered to be specious...
I know the context already. I'm asking you to explain it yourself because I want you to at least examine the reasoning which I know you haven't.
Why bring it up if you aren't willing to discuss the reasons? Are you just looking for some click bait headline to massage your preconceived notions? Yes I know the context of why. I'm trying to figure out if you do and what your thoughts are on it. If you don't care enough about it then just don't respond.
Me thinks it will be a right wing talking point, much like the billions of dollars on pallets to Iran. Never mind whether its true or not...
