The thing about Alou is he'd more than likely be on the DL for falling off a moped or some other lame ass accident.
Eh, it's the least of their worries right now. That option will still be there in a month. It wouldn't move the needle for Yuli one bit right now. I hope they end up signing Yuli to that rolling extension that Tim Wakefield got from the Red Sox in the mid-2000's. Just rolling $8-10m annual contracts until Yuli wants to retire.

If they don’t, I’d give him a one-year deal for his contact rate, hoping his newfound patience sticks around, but he’s a bad first baseman and probably doesn’t have the power to be more than an average regular there or at DH.
All you have to see is "defensive limitations" to know Keith Law has no idea what he is talking about. It's not 2016 and he isn't just starting to learn 1B. What a joke.
