Apparently he was tipping and corrected it in G2.

Could help explain the dramatic change in ABs from G2 to G6?

That’s where we miss Springer. Dude was the soul of this team.

Thanks for sharing. For the Braves, this points to the value of adding players via trades. Their team on July 13th did not win the championship.

Hope everyone is doing OK out there. It's been a tough day for me. I've been avoiding the news and sports talk to not be reminded of it.

Eh I'm over it now. It was a decent rebound day. Until next year I suppose.

This one hit me pretty hard. Kind of having me questioning the depth of my fandom. I'm not sure now if it is healthy to be this obsessed and passionate about watching millionaires play other millionaires for the profit of billionaires. Depressing.

Yeah I hear you but I think about it less as rooting for millionaires but rooting for my home city.

I'm always #1 for Houston, but I think I may pull back a little on the passion for sports in general. Kind of hard to do when I'm raising a boy at home who is a kick ass pitcher.

yes, I am ok. Tough loss and i am still sad. How is it possible we lost last two World Series when Astros has lot of talents? I sometimes question my faith and belief. But at least we won 2017 World Series championship. I would be more depressing if Astros never won championship in all 4 events. It’s not end of the world. I believe Houston will win championship again someday in any sport.

During the playoffs? I'm sure I've said things. I certainly watched all of them. Even got mad and yelled at some girls I was with for not caring about the game. Pro tip: Don't watch the game with only girls...

I’m ridiculously disappointed but 2019 hurt worse for me. I always hate to lose no matter time of year, and whether ot not it was a crucial game.

I wanted this one more for the players who were here and experience the daily garbage, and for Dusty.

    “A legacy so far removed,
    One day will be improved.
    Eternal rights we left behind,
    We were the better kind.
Two the same, set free too,
    I always looked to you,
    I always looked to you,
    I always looked to you.

We fought for good, stood side by side,
    Our friendship never died.
On stranger waves, the lows and highs,
    Our vision touched the sky,
    Immortalists with points to prove,
I put my trust in you.
I put my trust in you.
I put my trust in you.

A house somewhere on foreign soil,
    Where ageing lovers call,
Is this your goal, your final needs,
    Where dogs and vultures eat,
Committed still I turn to go.
I put my trust in you.
I put my trust in you”

On one hand we didn’t know what we didn’t know at the time but 2019 felt harder to swallow given we were 7 outs away and had earned two games at home to win it all. Felt like we were the better team. This year felt different in that I didn’t feel we had the advantage coming home. Props to ATL, they simply did everything better.

Yea it sucks but nothing wrong with losing to the better team be it 3 games, 7 games, whatever. Yea it would’ve been nice to shut people up but we all know that wouldn’t have happened had we won. Having said all that I guess since I’m in my 50s now it’s hard to get too disappointed these days. I just like actually waking up and not being too sore from whatever I did the day before. I really enjoy the banter in here and look forward to next year and our Astros kicking some major league ass next year. Go Stros!
