“I’m going to miss him a lot,” Doncic told ESPN’s Mark Jones. “Houston got a great coach, he’s a big reason for my growth as a player.” Do either Doncic is an idiot, or you are. I think we all know what it's time to start calling yourself. Curry on Silas: https://rocketswire.usatoday.com/20...ng-for-stephen-silas-to-succeed-with-rockets/ I guess Curry is an idiot too. So you say he had no impact on those guys, and yet those guys credit him for his growth. Which one of you is wrong? Is it you? Or is it Doncic or Curry? Idiot is the right word, but you need to use it while facing a mirror.
I'm talking in terms of W/L. Seriously do you follow the conversation or just respond to one sentence?
He will more than likely have another bad game soon so the Haters wont be down in the dumps for too long! Silver linings amirite?
Nah, not buying it. It's easy to take credit for players who are in the top percentile of talent of all time, they would've got exactly where they were with or without him. So far he's shown literally nothing with the Rockets. Actually go back and watch our games from last year, it's the same bullshit offense he's running this year where nobody knows wtf is going on and plays bad streetball before a rushed pass or a bad 3. I blamed it on Wall and Dipo at the time, after seeing this season so far and the exact same **** happening, I'm putting that on coach.
I like to watch the plays out of a timeout specifically for "coaching talent" and honestly what Silas draws up is like Jr High madness.
He has the potential once we start to get some consistency KD & Harden have shouted him on on social Kevin Love recently did a podcast talking about how he was obviously the most talented Cav with his scoring and playmaking and just needed a change of scenery but said it was obvious how good he was He was the first name out of AD’s mouth in the post game interview talking about his talented scoring and playmaking ability. AD actually showed our entire young core a lot of love in his interview If Jalen can start hitting some shots it will open up some space for scoop(gets double every time he tries to drive in We good y’all
I'm at the stage now where the emperor has no clothes. If it was just this season I could maybe let it slide, but if you go back and watch last season's games he was doing the exact same ****. I need to apologise to Wall and Dipo for blaming that awful offense on them, they were just running Silas' system, identical to this year just with better players.
Last night KPJ showed a lot of improvement. In the 1st and 2nd quarter. Then he reverted back to his natural self. If he can continue to play like a floor general and minimize his mistakes, this team has something. I'd like to believe he can correct it and get better at the position. I just see a power struggle in him between the player he needs to be for this team...and the player he naturally is. Green, Sengun, Wood and Tate all play roles that are who they are. They just need to build on that. KPJ is the only one that looks like he's playing a role that he's not naturally suited to play.
If no one told Porter he was the point guard, he'd be averaging 7.5 assists with 3.9 turnovers but since he is the point guard the struggle will continue. Definitely trying to hard in this new role, mental approach.
I don't think that's it really. I think more of it was the lineups and rotations that were being thrown out there simply didn't mesh well together. By playing KMJ, you put another guy on the court that KPJ already has chemistry with. Early on the rotations being thrown out there had a lot of stylistic mismatches which is going to cause chaos, especially with younger and less cerebral players like KPJ and Green.
LOL, sort of, but what I really meant were players with less developed mental parts of the game. Both Green and KPJ have athleticism for days but they are still learning the mental side of the game. I don't necessarily think they are stupid, it's very common for freak athletes to leave that part of their game undeveloped since at lower levels you don't really need it if you have the freak athleticism. Compare that to Sengun who is very limited athletically, but he's more advanced than any teenager has any business being when it comes to the mental side of the game. Chris Paul is probably the gold standard when it comes to that.
Half his turn overs come from defenders not having respect for our shooters and colliding on him in the paint. They aren’t even attempting to guard Green or Sengun in this video but just waiting for KPJ to try to drive in
I love KPJ but he was mad that 2k rated him lower than rookies and most of the top rookies are out playing him right now. You want respect youre going to have to earn it. I expected Jalen and Sengun to struggle a bit to start but the way KPJ has been playing lately he looks like a 3rd week rookie too.
