LOL..... the guy that can't take a rebuild is ready to fire the coach after 1.1 seasons....... yea that'll make the Rockets look good.
lol its not called magic its called coaching and discipline! you inspire, motivate , you train them, you award and take away pt...you teach these guys work ethic....and give them the tools, methods and processes so that they can put in the work...you monitor and follow up... Obradovic would make these scrubs run the circles around 2 thirds of this league teams and i am doubling down on my take, because its 100% true, and anyone can see it, anyone, literally anyone, not only a noble cf member, can do what silas has done - lose the most games in nba and keep losing this year at even a greater pace
rockets worrying too much about looking good, just like jalen green, photo sessions and everything, instead they should just play, play better and put more work in practice and more effort in games.
no that's not called coaching and discipline. you do realize everyone is not made to be a 40% elite shooter. And it literally doesn't matter what a coach does. They don't magically make you one. You can double down triple quad. it doesn't matter. Your take was all sorts of dumb. Silas would 1000% absolutely murder you in a room in any sort of basketball related conversation. You wouldn't even have success coaching probably a local middle school for free
Silas apologist? Nah I think he should be fired for not benching KPJ and Green. If thinking a rookie fouling his ass off and turning it over like crazy shouldn’t be given a starting role 6 games into his rookie year makes me a Silas apologist. Maybe you just want Sengun to start because you’re an Erdogan apologist chew on that sunny
Silas isn't going anywhere right now and he really shouldn't. No one is really clamoring for the Rockets job right now and Silas deserves more time - besides the Rockets are not trying to win anyway. At the end of this season, assuming the Rockets get a top 5 pick, then you consider getting a different head coach if the young players are not improving enough. With the added benefit of another top 5 pick, the Rockets coaching position will likely be more desirable. Silas is a very good man and he tries very hard to be fair to his players. He has taken over a very difficult situation and has made mistakes, but I am not sure many "sure thing" coaches want the job at this moment. We have seen very good X and O coaches like Carlisle and Bjorkman pushed out because of poor communication with younger players, the league is changing as we speak. The Rockets basically are a bunch of guys that cannot even drink yet. Sadly Silas will likely be fired at some point over the next couple of years, because when it is time to compete the Rockets will look for a more accomplished coach.... but for now Silas is okay.
Stone suddenly looking a little rocky. Maybe should have offered Kelly the same deal he got from Detroit.
Go look at his "genius offense" from last season, we blamed it on Wall and Dipo at the time for being greedy, it's the EXACT same bullshit offense they're running this year. Open your eyes to the reality that Silas was all hype and no substance. Riding Doncic's coat tails was a great way to hustle a job he's not capable of performing.
When Silas was hired, we still had Harden, so the offense was easy to draw out, just give the ball to Harden. Job done, profit!
LOL he really doesnt deserve more time... i have seen enough....and we deserve not to be his guinea pigs and held hostages to his ignorance and inability its not a good idea to pair a rookie coach and a lot of rookie players anyway FIRE HIM NOW before he ruins our youngsters, head their development the wrong way and all the good reputation this organization still holds is gone
Weirdly enough he didn't do that lol. The one time he did this was because we were short on players and he had no choice (plus Wall was not playing) and Harden almost beat Portland by himself. Then after that, John Wall came back and he made Harden an off the ball player. Am I remembering this right @D-rock?
Exactly, he's a fraud. If your "genius" offense requires Harden, LeBron, Curry or Doncic to work, is it really a genius offense? Which is more impressive, having a top rated offense with a HOF player running things, or being competitive with a team of fringe starters and role players? I rate Adelman infinitely higher than Silas. A genius should be able to get a team that contains Wall, Dipo, Tucker, Wood, EG etc to at least look competent, that rarely happened last year. We all just blamed the wrong people for how bad it looked...
