Christian Wood needs to get in the practice facility and put up a billion free throws. It’s unacceptable that he is shooting 51% and shot 63% last season. For a guy that shoots as much as he does… pathetic
1/5 last night in a big game. That’s why he’s a tier 2 star at best. Soft and can’t hit free throws.

Because he’s the closest thing to a “star” that houston has right now. He’s our “best” player. And he talks about being underrated and doubted all the time.

I actually didn’t watch the 4th quarter and was going to watch tonight. Couldn’t stay awake any longer. But now I see that his weak frame couldn’t catch and power up for a dunk on the last play. Weak. But yes, Tate lob could have been better.

 

i am also kinda dissapointed with him... but it is what it is...hes a solid player... with a better coaching , teammates he will perhaps excel and maybe overcome his weaknesses

 

Christian Wood has so many options here. Besides the easy layup, he could pass to Brooks for the uncontested 3.

Yeah Rockets should have either been going to OT or had a wide open 3 with a chance to win the game on that play. It was a good play drawn up by Silas.

Wood needs to either go up with force and get a bucket or find the wide open shooter.
He did neither and that’s why he’s a tier b or c type of player.

 

I don't think he was expecting a lob not sure why

 

May have been his best game as a rocket considering the opponent. He looked good last night.
