OPEN down 11% in sympathy with Zillow's problems today; but they shouldn't be compared because it is better run: https://www.bizjournals.com/sanfran...pressive-compared-to-zillow-re.html?ana=yahoo edit: down 15% now. buying.
I remember seeing Warren Buffett invest tons of money into Avis/Budget Rental stock last year. I thought about sticking some money there, but decided not to. After today, he's up 1000%. Lmao. Major props.
AKTS...If you're looking for a long term swing, I would say go for it. It looks to be near the bottom. It may take a while, but it will go up from here eventually. Short term swing...EMAs aren't where I would take a shot yet. You've done your research, so long term swing might be right up your alley. HIMX is worth a short term swing. EMAs are starting to turn. It's worth a gamble.
So Elon Musk comes out and says that the Hertz deal wasn't actually signed? So that gigantic rally was based on a theoretical contract that doesn't exist. The rules on insider trading and public disclosures have to be re-written. TSLA's valuation went crazy over news that Musk is now walking back.
APPS is turning red this AM, exited all my plays to protect the nice profit realized so far one in the hand is worth more than two in the bush!
not smart enough to buy CAR, but i did take flyer on 200 shares of Hertz, when CAR was trading ~ $78 from page 819
Opendoor might be a great play. But just +$4,400 on a home sale is probably ALSO a net loss. Not that losing money has ever hurt a stock's price in this market, lulzt.
Nice! Glad this one worked out. Actually since theres been discussion over p/e and valuations lately - we bought AMD in the $50s in 2020 when its p/e was over 100 and Intel p/e was $50 and 10. Today amd is $127 and p/e of 39; Intel is $49, p/e of 9.5. Point is, these ratios are only useful in context of future growth/earnings. It can be software, semis, real estate: revenue growth + operating leverage (earnings improve with more revenue) = eventual winner. @Ziggy
As long as it breaks even on the home sale that's good enough for now, real $ is in all the extra services - loans, insurance, etc.
https://seekingalpha.com/article/44...td-2021-q3-results-earnings-call-presentation Samsung's phone sales were good. Fingers crossed.
He ain't here to make the planet better and he sure as hell don't care about the SEC rules, he is here to be the richest person. As more people get rich off TSLA, the cult will grow, thus making him more rich. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/11/02/her...arted-delivering-cars-despite-musk-tweet.html
They're LONG calls. Well.... kind of long. Lolz. My thought for the day, since you've asked previously - buy short puts on RIOT.
