I mean it normally nets you good prospects, with Zion I don't get why anyone is surprised. Looking at his body in College it was always bound to happen for him to become the next fatman in the league and early retirement.
#1 picks tend to help win championships, but looking at recent history, it's interesting how few do so with their original teams. Since Tim Duncan in 1997, only Kyrie Irving was a #1 pick to win a championship with the team that drafted and controlled him (Lebron, for example, doesn't count because he won one as a Cleveland Free Agent so they didn't need to draft him). That's 24 years of #1 picks. Ayton got close last year. No one else has really been close, I don't think.
'good prospects' doesn't give you championship(then why tank at all?) this is where folks get it wrong so instead outright tanking for good prospect embrace the mediocrity straight away and compete with whatever you already got
Zion Williamson Body type is a Football player. Zion doesn't have straight legs, Smh He can't run to get in shape and lose the extra weight. Or dedicated to have chef to watch his diet, trainer constantly helping him. His body isn't for the NBA, constantly running and jumping landing on his feet and knees.
i knew zion was big, but this is kind of shocking. Barrett looking like he's telling Zion to stop eating in this clip.
I feel like he picks his fits based off of whatever show/movie he watched that day. For example on this day Zion decided to watch New Jack City one too many times.
2-3 weeks get's him pretty close to Thanksgiving. He ain't gonna be playing games during Turkey time if he can avoid it.
