Once again, you have zero numbers, and zero data, to back up your bullshit. You never do because if you actually used logic or data, you'd have a more informed opinion. I wish you traded stocks. You're an outstanding contrarian indicator. Being wrong that often is statistically impressive, and could probably make us some money.
Ay, where you been? You coming out from hiding yet or waiting for Harden to have a couple of good games....
Now I realize how biased( and stupid) people are. Even so called Rockets fans are underestimating him even after seeing all the incredible stuff he did here for over the last decade.
Yeah, I don't get it. Harden has always been a kick ass regular season player and he usually does fine in the playoffs besides some of those memorable critical games that people hate him for. I don't understand why people are underestimating him based on a few bad performances to start the season lol.
https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/hardeja01/splits/ Based on historical data: Harden, more or less, completely forgets that the NBA season starts in October. Come November, he's ready to play. By Christmas time, he's the Beard we all know and love/hate January shows a bit of regression most likely due to the holidays and hangovers Harden then bounces back in February in a shortened month with an All-Star break
Without factoring in the chaos of the Bubble season and last year's shortened season? Probably not. Looking at the hard data his Bubble season FT attempts per game was in line with what he was averaging the previous seasons. Last year's attempts per game went down. You could look at his FT rate (FT attempts per FG attempt) and this year is the lowest in his career. Same trend for Lillard, Luka and Trae Young.
I don't know what you're wanting me to say. Less FT attempts theoretically means less FTs made which means he's scoring less? That might be the first thing people want to cite as to why Harden's not "Harden" but the guy is shooting bad right now. From the field he's shooting under 40% which would be the first time ever in his career to be that low, even lower than his rookie season (40.3%). From the numbers he's also substituting baskets closer to the rim with even more 3s.
I guess my point is you would have to give harden a whole season to see the affect of the rule changes not a couple of games. As evidenced with the last 2 games.. Also, last year in brooklyn he may have scored less but did more playmaking oretty much carrying the team in the reg season
He'll get it together (as much as Rockets fans watching the Nets pick would hate for that to happen). He's shown that he can adapt to changes; like you said, just give him time.
The outcome from this will be .. . . .what Rockets fans said for years. . . . . Harden LEGITIMATELY gets fouled ALOT and He does not get as many calls as he should Rocket River
this fouls were fouls based on the rules ( that's why it's been changed 3 to 4 times in the last 5 years) or it's either the refs were incompetent and/or negligent or harden has some voodoo / jedi mind trick going
Say what you will about Harden's movement being natural or not, but if you don't foul him, the ball goes into the basket. Heck, half the time ball goes into the basket anyway.
