So with Urquidy only throwing 14 pitches and this being the day he would throw on the side, shouldn't be be good to give us 4-5 innings in a start in game 6?
And blew a 2-1 series lead against SL in 2019 in NLDS including having a lead in the 8th inning of game #4. Not sure if you guys remember game #5 of that series but in that pivotal game SL scored 10 first inning runs in ATL to kill any shot of them advancing.
I'm not sure what was said in this thread about Marwin when he got that two RBI bloop single but that made bringing him to the team all worth it. It wasn't pretty but he came through at a critical time. And, Correa's leadership helped bring him in. Pay him. Pay that man his money.
all streaks come to an end. Just like the braves who havent lost at home this postseason. until tonight
I know you can't cry over spilled milk....BUT, I flash back to yesterday and 11 LOB and the back to back HRs given up by Javier (he didn't lose it though, lack of offense did). We could be going home up 3-2...but, at least we're going home with a CHANCE.
Just like we needed that Grand Slam to wake up... perhaps we needed to be down 3-1 in the series to pay it back!
The Braves snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They are now in deep trouble. The Astros will erupt at home. Alvarez will awake from his slumber. Berkman will find his grove. Altuve will hit home runs. Tucker will stay hot. Brantley recovers his professional hitter mode, Machete stays locked it, the team of pitchers throw strikes, and the Braves choke. Never let the Astros off the hook; they will not lose in Houston.
Thing is Yordan has been sleep all week now, if anything he's overdue...hopefully he wakes up on Tuesday. If he wakes up on Tuesday...it's over with for them.
Since Dusty finally made an adjustment and moved Bregman down the order I think he should make another one. It seems like Yordan is struggling, Dusty should bench him and let Greinke DH...
