04 and 05 were heartbreaking but looking bad, it’s still a lot of great memories. This has been even better
He has to do that as a hedge against his mattress promotions. It's been good for business if he keeps doing these offers where he has to make a Vegas bet. He's done it for other sporting events too but his Astros bets make the biggest headlines. He used to have a type of insurance on these offers but insurance companies won't take these anymore.
It's a win-win or lose-lose. He loses to Vegas, but he won't have to give a ton of mattress refunds or whatever his promotion is. Also, Astros +$400 to win it all! You couldn't have gotten these odds in a while.
I gotta tell ya, I had euphoria similar to what I had in 2017 that lasted quite some time. I am jonesing now. I really, really, really, want that feeling again. Houston was like a magical place back then.
