The most frustrating part to me is that the question marks have done exactly what they needed to do.
    Relief pitching, Zack, etc.

So you're saying it's exclamation marks (!) that haven't produced ;) Maybe because they have an Asterisk (*) over their head

Either way, everybody needs to produce or this season ends today. Period (.)

Yeah, who would have thought the offense would be the reason the Astros lose the series.

The pitching has held the Braves to 2 and 3 runs in back to back games in Atlanta. You'd think the number one offense in the league could win at least one of those, if not both.

    So disappointing.

It's like that every time when the Astros make it to the World Series. MLB and all reporters choose the Astros to win cause they're the #1 offense or our 1-7 hitters are dangerous. Then in the end, the Astros do the opposite and look like a minor league team who can't hit anything during the freakin' World Series!!!

Astros were favored coming into this series. Same as 2019

Kyle Tucker also leaving 12 men on base this series more than any other Astro. He’s had plenty of opportunities in the 7th hole to break open games and he hasn’t.

The good news is Greinke can pinch hit tonight.

Taking the kid trick or treating tonight, then will check into the game. Not any high expectations though.

Hate to say it but the two WS where we didn’t admit to cheating we’ve lost. This is the Astros legacy.

After sleeping on it and letting the steam cool off... The reality is- the fact that we're even in the World Series is nothing short of miraculous.

    1. Bregman goes down for a huge chunk of the season with his quad issues. (which you can tell he's not 100%)

    2. Grienke has his neck strain at the end of the season and never got back to where he was.

    3. Pitching staff was just above average/mediocre at best all season, which our offense compensated for.

    4. No true "Ace". McCullers stepped up in the ALDS and was incredible so I'll give him that.

The fact that we beat Boston in 6 without McCullers and a rotation that for the majority is unproven, is a huge accomplishment in itself.

The reality is that even making the World Series is something to be proud of. Yes there's no trophy for 2nd place and yes there's no consolation prizes but we should be still damn proud of this team. I don't wanna make excuses for why the Astros lineup all of a sudden can't hit anything, but I truly believe not being able to take batting practice and fielding practice on the field before game 3 threw them off. Most people who have played baseball or sports at any level know how important rhythm and routine is as a player. Atlanta is incredible at home and that's not just a coincidence.

Either way here we are down 3-1. I'm hoping we can snap out of it and get back in the groove tonight. If we lose in 5 it would suck tremendously but in all honesty if we look at things subjectively, the Astros even making the World Series is a huge accomplishment.

Not really the end of the world... the team made it to two world series including beating the Red Cheat Sox themselves. I think that's a level of vindication for the team's talent. No one intelligent ever thought it was easy to win a sports championship.

This will be the last time the Astros make the World Series. I don't see this team making it back next year or 5 years from now.

Yes but the argument is that winning the WS is hard and you need the cheating edge to win. Take the cheating away and do the Astros beat the Dodgers in 2017? That’s something I’m pondering now.

C'mon dude. Marwin hitting a 2 out homer to tie the game in the 9th in Dodger stadium... Morton and company holding the Dodgers to 1 run in game 7 in Dodger stadium..

    Stop it dude.
