LOL Hindsight much? Learn to evaluate better so you're not always stating the obvious. And WTF was your point stating Mobley and Barnes are best players in the draft?
The first time you say gotcha ... ... will be the first time you say gotcha. You no talent alternate reality spinning hack.
This they cant even run pick and roll with Wood who at present is better than Mobley offensively. Mobley has two guards averaging 8 and 9 assists per game that is why he doing well. They also actually have a system. He would not the same minutes with Silas and he wouldnt get the same passes with KPJ and Augistin neither of which is 8 assists per game.
OK but he probably had good college level playmakers lol He's not assisting himself lol he isnt exactly shaq and he's not hakeem. he is either standing there open waiting for the pass on the perimeter or he's standing near or cuttng to the rim for lobs again we cant even do that with wood lol
Some people swear the cavs are good now because of mobley and not one has bothered to actually watch the cavs. They just had a 10 point lead on the Suns and Mobley had done **** lol Amazing what you can do with a solid draft pick, actual real point guards who love to pass and a coach with an actual system. Amazing lol
He has two point guards averaging near 10 assists per game. He has a big that helps him protect the paint. A shooting guard who is a near all star level. But no we are wrong he's modern day tim duncan doing it all himself LMAO. Despite the fact they just had a lead on the suns and he only had 1 point lol The cavs success this year is all him lol.
Nah I don't think there were concensus about the number 2 pick. In fact I don't remember anyone on this board really bringing up Barnes. We had a thread for Suggs, Cade, Green and Mobley. Kuminga and Barnes were outliers
If you watched even ONE game that USC played, you'd realize how wrong this take is. There were no quality playmakers on that Trojan team.
If you believe that consensus on CF is the right way to evaluate talent then we've got nothing left to discuss.
So you think college is the same as the NBA. Regardless there are quality playmakers on his team NOW IN THE NBA. Whatever he was there, he is not a 1v1 dominant big man now. Maybe you should watch some cavs games lol
Your analysis is too simple. There are too many variables in this one statement to be looking at assists. Also the post I just read where you said barnes and mobley are the best players in this draft and that poster should listen to the "RIGHT" people I believe you said. I am trying to be nice here. You need to calm down on the hyperbole. There is some time here down the road where you are going to possibly be very surprised who will be considered the best players in the draft.
I’m not about to make any rash predictions less than 10 games into the rookie year season of these guys. Truthfully, Green has underwhelmed in relation to expectations up to this point besides one game where he went nuclear from the 3 point line. There are aspects of his game that I’ve been presently surprised with and others not so much. I can point to the fact that I was ok with drafting Mobley or trading back for Barnes, but I honestly feel like Green is going to be good eventually. He may even end up being better than Mobley or Barnes, but there is admittedly a chance that he won’t. I’m willing to give it this year and see what happens though before I definitively give my hot take. Mobley just finished a game with 2 points. There are going to be highs and lows for all these dudes.
Mobley with only 2 points tonight. I can't see the future but I would wager that Green never scores only 2 points in one game.
Bad shooting night for Mobley, reminds me of this other rookie Jalen Green! Good thing he didn't take 15 shots. Props for dishing more assists than Rubio!
Mobley is averaging 15 and 59% TS but can't score? Mobley is averaging 8 boards but cant rebound? That low weight BS has been shot to pieces but you continue to push this stupidity. Mobley shoots 33% from 3 which is better than 31% from 3 (guess who)? Mobley, as a big, averages slighly more AST than Green a guard. Mobley averages over 4 FT per game which is more than double what Green averages. Mobley has had only ONE game where he was a negative +/- (and that game was negative single digits). Mobley averages almost 2 BLK and almost 1.5 STL and has a positive Net Rtg, but you do not consider him a switchable and efficient defender. I was wrong, you didnt go full moron. Even worse, you went full roslolian.
Not sure if this comment needs to be stickied, but it's early in their careers and rookies have ups and downs. Mobley offers more to the game than scoring. No need to use a single game to validate an opinion
When I'm wrong I'll admit it. Whether it's now, in 80 games, or 5 years. But guess what, I'm not wrong yet.
