This is one while I might agree with NAACP aims I'm not sure this is the way to go about doing it. Opportunities in high level sports at both the college and pro-level are very rare. We hear a lot about super star recruits getting tons of offers but for many athletes they don't get that much freedom to choose what opportunities they get. My own view is that if black athletes choose not to go to Texas for reasons of their conscience that is their call and wouldn't blame them but I wouldn't be comfortable telling black athletes to avoid Texas on a blanket basis.
