I was responding to you talking about the difference between getting swept in the WCF and going to game 7 and not overall playoff history. I was suggesting that basketball is a team game and Harden’s 2015 team was closer to Lillard’s in which case it is 1-4 vs 0-4 vs the Warriors. But when paired with another hall of fame player (playing at an elite level still), then harden made it to game 7 (losing the last 2 without CP). But really it doesn’t matter.
So you decided to pick one part of the argument and ignore the entirety of what my point actually was. Thanks for making my point for me. The poster said Lillard's entire playoff accomplishments were "almost" the same as Harden not the 2015 season. Simple question do you agree with him or not?
I was at that game and I think that was the most athletic thing I've seen in person and I've been to over 100 games & used to work at a place where John Lucas trained nba players or nba prospects (before he was rockets ast coach). So, I've seen some pretty athletic stuff.. Jalen's athleticism is like a Tesla in the sense that it seems instantaneous, no effort, no warning Disclaimer: no I am not saying because he is special kind of athletic means it guarantees any nba success..
Honestly… this Cavs team is just the perfect fit for Mobley. I think his dad knew that. Got 3 guards that dish the rock instead of 1 guard learning how to play point. Got Jarrett Allen who knows his role and Kevin love as a great mentor to have off the bench. A lot of pick and rolls. He wouldn’t have the same effect here in Houston.
yeah, Mobley catching effortless lobs, lol. Rockets got dudes with max verts and people throwing the passes into the stands. Mobley being able to be a guy is perfect. cavs low key have a nice squad.
Hed look terrible in this offense trying to play with KPJ at pg and catching the ball stationary and being asked to create his own shot. He has some pretty good guards to play with and look at all the motion in their offense. They actually have good passing guards.
They didn't get the W... but Being 20 years old, going up against AD and LeBron, leading your team in scoring efficiently with 23 points, playing 36 minutes, and walking away with 0 fouls and 0 turnovers is unbelievably impressive. This dude's IQ, feel, instincts, intangibles, whatever you want to call it is next-level big brain stuff, his skill, decision making, and execution for his age is nuts. If you guys think it's Ricky Rubio doing that then holy **** we need Ricky Rubio. If you guys think it's just KPJ bringing our guys down then holy **** we should dump KPJ. lol
Cavs are further along in their rebuild. Actually, they look like this might be their breakout year in getting out of the lottery (for sure not bottom-5). They've had four years of being in the lottery, we've had one, so it's not a fair comparison. Give us another year in the lottery (with some hopeful draft pick luck), a decent offseason while shedding big salary (Wall, EG) so we can be active in FA, and then lets see how this team shapes out. Unfortunately, I think this season is headed to a point where by midseason you'll only have the die hards left.
Ayton/Bagley over Luka is basically the same as Cade/Green over Mobley. Cade/Ayton - low ceiling player for #1 pick. Eventual good role players for the most part. Bagley/Green - athletic more boom or bust player with higher ceiling. Not saying Green will bust like Bagley, but what is his best case? A more athletic Bradley Beal? A smarter Zach LaVine? Don't see him with the Curry shooting, the Harden dishing or the Kobe level overall game ever. Luka/Mobley - old school scouts hate these two, analytics people yelling on top of lungs that they are the best picks. Luka. I'll just leave his impact with a period. Mobley is already at all-NBA defense level, completely ignoring any offense.
