Lol at comparing 3rd round pick Davis Mills, not even top 4-5 in most scout assessments of his class, to Jalen ****ing Green.

    Just lol.

Rookie to rookie. Mills was just as high a recruit.
Just say you’re a hypocrite and be done with it. Green looks like ass cheeks and gets benefit of doubt, has a good game and boom he’s the savior. Mills looks like ass cheeks and gets crapped on when he lights the best coach of all time up.
You and others are too obvious.

The NBA and NFL drafts aren't similar, but there was a reason Green went #2 overall and was thought to be the best overall prospect by many and Mills was the 8th QB taken.

There are so many differences. I don't see how one situation is even remotely similar to the other.

And the bottom line: abso-fuking-lutely Green gets more benefit of the doubt than Davis Freaking Mills, the cmoak1982 champion.

Can't bear to watch this guy Mills depress our team anymore. Nothing but utter garbage on the road.

Yeah, Mills is the depressing part. Some of you are just flat out dumb.

What teammates does he have? This team is filled with vet backups on one year deals, the defense should be upset with Mills, and the entire offense. The running backs are garbage, the tackles are hurt, the first round pick left guard can’t block anything, Cooks is the only productive receiver and the tight ends have to stay in to block 90% of the time. That’s not even mentioning the non stop screen passes and running on 2nd and long to create 3rd and longer.
Yes Mills has had stinkers, he’s also had a game that is literally as good as any rookie ever and made some nice throws when opened up, including some real nice throws on the run.

Yes, he's in a bad situation, but his consistently bad road performances are brutal. One good start isn't enough of a "flash" for me. And he has not done enough to overcome some bad coaching.

It's hard for me to imagine Mills to be anything more than a backup. He should've stayed in school another year.

And I’m not even saying you’re wrong, I’m saying it’s not enough of a test to know if you’re wrong or right.
Let the kid play, he either shows growth or he doesn’t. Both are positives.

Do you think Chicago is giving up on Fields? Jets on Wilson? They’ve been far worse than Mills in far better situations.

Those guys are first-round talent with more experience than Mills.

The Jets and Bears wouldn’t be inclined to give up on them so early because there’s more potential.

Mills is already up against the wall being a 3rd-round QB (especially going to a dumpster-fire like the Texans).

The sample size is small, but it’s not encouraging.

Feel bad for JJ. Class act. Seems like the curse of one of the most inept franchises in NFL history came back to haunt him even on the other sideline.
