Crime out of control: Man shoots kids trying to steal his Xbox

Title should be: "Crime out of Control: Man shoots armed assailants trying to steal from him"

 

The driver did not have to lose his life for this, but for a guy with a master degree, that was the dumbest move you could do in Texas. Pulling into someone’s driveway with the headlights off in the wee hours of the morning is never ok especially in TX. That move could get you killed.

 

I sold a few of my musical instruments online. I always set up the meeting at the police station or at least Guitar Center. I’m not doing that anymore. I found the site Reverb and I’ve been selling some of my music gears there, much safer than meeting on the streets.

I’m packing heat but only for self-defense, never want to take a life or shoot anyone over a guitar or an amp. If I were to get robbed and my life is not being threatened( let’s say the perp just grabs my guitar and runs away), I would not shoot the *******, but if my life is being threatened, I would empty that magazine in a heartbeat.

 

Anything can get you killed in Texas because people are ****ing stupid with their guns. I say this as an avid shooter and hunter. I ****ing hate going to the range because half of the people there have no business owning a gun.

 

Yes, that maybe true in TX, but parking in someone’s driveway in the early morning hours with the headlights off is not the wisest move anywhere.

Yep. Will only shoot someone if I think my family is danger. No piece of property I own is worth taking someone's life for. You can have my car or whatever. That is what insurance is for.
