http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yf6t6c2c Lamb free's up 10 mil now, and Holiday same age as Gordon, can hit the 3, where you could just buyout his contract on the final year if you have to. Maybe pacers would throw in a 2nd rd pick. Seems like a even trade. Trade machine says they get the best deal. I just do it. Heck Gordon needs a new home, and pacers are team he fits on(Hometown) playoff bound, needs a good 6th man. He fit better there, and could possibly be another top 6th man of the league again, maybe because he's playing in his hometown, i know he's better than Holiday. With the sample play recently he would come nicely off the bench for them. If you don't do it now he will just bum a knee during trade deadline.
because the day after they trade for him, he’ll get hurt. And they’ll be in the hook for 2 more yrs of a bad contract.
Finally a real fan. All Eric is saying is if we tighten up and get past this stage, we can go off at any point in time. We need Dusty Baker to coach after Astros win the World Series
Love to see EG begin to ball out. Patience. Let them see him like this for a longer stretch. Then, sell.
I guess if you're just looking to do Eric a solid that works, but he's good enough that I think we ought to be able to get at least a late 1st round pick for him.
I'd like EGo to be a Rocket for the rest of his career but we gotta put this dood out of his misery. He deserves to play on a real team, we should mercy trade him for bad contracts and cash considerations
He’s not wrong. In theory, the Rox have the talent on the roster to beat any team in the league on any given night. But we aren’t playing to win games. We’re playing for ping pong balls.
We need to trade with Golden State for Jonathan Kuminga and then trade with Orlando for one of their Point Guards......
Its not the numbers that is the problem. Everyone in the league knows who gordon is. Its his injury history that is keeping teams from pulling the trigger. They dont trust his durablity - hell we dont. I think him sitting out the rest of last year is hurting our chances to trade him. The team should have played him the last 10 games at least.
I do believe what EGo meant was that because we are so bad, our chances of winning against anyone are essentially the same. Thus, Eric Gordon has been proven correct
