Exactly.. And why haven't the Astros ever been the underdog who rises up in the playoffs? Since baseball is so crazy and anything can happen
He's not having a great post-season, besides 2 clutch home runs and some great defensive plays (and a couple of bad ones) but pathetic he is not. You have revealed a lot about yourself as a human being with your comments tonight
The Braves with Morton only pitching 2.1 innings the whole series is such an eminently beatable team. It’s hard to get your hopes up though with Urquidy on the mound tomorrow night who hasn’t looked good in quite some time. Losing Lance was such a brutal loss for this team.
Why do y'all say Braves losing morton is a good thing for the astros? Have y'all watched the Astros vs no name pitchers? Every pitchers are Cy Young vs the astros.
Max Fried(had a poor outing last game) but numbers looks good. Ian Anderson looks good as well. Is game 4 a bullpen game for them??
The Braves best pitcher besides Morton is Fried. But, he has not looked good this post season, and (in my opinion and the opinions of many Braves fans) is somewhat overrated. If Bregman and Altuve can learn to hit again we should be fine next game. I am actually looking forward to the games here. We tend to hit way better on the road.
Well, 10 days ago when red sox jacked 2 history making Grand Slams in gm 2 -many here thought we were done. (especially after gm 3 12-3 loss). I hope we respond the same way.
Would be nice to see Altuve be the .346 average guy again, the same guy that hit to all fields and could hit any pitch. The current player hits into the shift going for the homer.
That was more fluky though. Braves won with more basic baseball plays but the Astros will pull it out
Fried is good, about as good as Eovaldi last series. Anderson is OK, but hittable. That's pretty much it. Braves need two, maybe 3 bullpen days to win this series.
2017. And considering its public knowledge that the Dodgers had cameras stealing signs as well as nearly every other team, I don't want to hear about how 2017 was "stolen".
So many things just didn't go our way today, preventable and not. 1. Framber had nothing from the outset 2. Sending Framber back out, and not pulling him after Rosario reached in the 3rd, is Dusty's first and biggest managerial ****up of the PS 3. Just bad damn luck on balls hit by us and balls hit by them in the first couple of innings 4. Altuve-Bregman were just horrible at the plate. Correa was not much better. 0-12 with 6K and 6LOB combined 5. Not PH Diaz for Maldy with 1-3 on and 1 out down 5-1. (Maldy scorched one that he just got on top of, foul of course) Dusty's 2nd ****up. 6. Altuve and Tucker gifting the Braves a run 7. Sending Stanek back out for a 2nd inning, 3rd ****up 8. Again, more bad luck: Brantley/Diaz/Yuli/Yordan all hit balls that were a barely not HRs Oh well...let's kick some ass tomorrow. Urquidy has come up huge in Postseason games before, may he do it again. Bullpen was absolutely ****ing nails though, may that continue.
Honestly, I would feel comfortable if the away games are against the AL team because our pitchers have to hit going to ATL. Meaning more auto outs. Sigh.....
