Luck is like DBZ Chi or Mana in most video games. You have a limited amount of it and need to spend it well. It replenishes over time, but you can run out. Astros clearly ran out of luck after dumping it to win games 4-6 last series. Needs to recharge a bit.
baseball is super high variance, and 7 games is a very short sample. If you put the 2019 Astros vs Nats series and they played a best of 101 instead of best of 7, Houston has a 99.99999% win probability. But 7 games you can get lucky, as the Nats sadly did.
Remember after game 5 of the 2017 ALDS where the Astros had a BABIP of .142 through the first 5 games? The fact we won the series going away was regression to the mean. The fact we didn't lose in 5 was thanks to god-like pitching.
2nd baseman made a nice play on first at bat. Why were his first 2 hits pointless? Singled with 1 out in 6th. Doubled with 1 out in 4th. Rarely is a hit pointless in the WS.
