They are both the same type of player right now, they both need the ball, they both look shot first, and they are both really good at attacking the rim - and are both still developing as a passer. I am saying that it might help KPJ's development to pair him with a catch and shoot guy, until he is comfortable with his passing - to help limit the turnovers and give him confidence. And then bring Green in, and give him the ball when KPJ is out - They are LIKE players - both SG's at this point - I believe it would help accelerate both to play to their strengths for a bit, and EASE them into starting together - but feel free to disagree. You are hung up on me - saying my name all over the board, maybe you are obsessed and need a little hug or a snuggle? Maybe you Dream about me, it's understandable - young bucks trying to take on the silverback...... DD
Per 36 Kobe rookie year: pts: 17.6 rb: 4.3 ast: 3 Per 36 JG so far (3 games): pts: 18.4 rb: 4.2 ast: 3.4 I'm not trying to say anything but I'm just saying.... Source: basketball reference
no, they are not the same player…Jalen Green can play off-ball, something KPJr does not do 2nd paragraph makes no sense…as if Jalen Green is James Harden out there just soaking up possessions and needing the ball in his hands 24/7…KPJr has 28% usage don’t gas yourself…your lack of understanding of the players on this team and terrible takes are amusing, that’s all…your 13 ppg on 38% shooting prediction for Jalen Green as a rookie will age like raw fish left out in the sun
Making up quotes now? How sad someone with your takes shouldn’t be acting like you’re the one who actually knows ball
Have you ever played, or coached basketball? Or just hit the playground and yell "And one" and "Next" etc? I mean if you really knew the game, you would know exactly what I am saying - and understand chemistry and how players fit together, or struggle at times - and you would understand what I am saying about how it might accelerate their development to put them playing a bit more with people around them who support their style. But alas......you clearly do not! You come across as a very young petulant child.... Next ! DD
Yeah I was going to bring that up as well; but I knew some yahoo was going to say Kobe was 18 his rookie season. So what, he was considered the G.O.A.T. around here I guess? Kobe second year was similar to first year 36-minute projections of rookie season. Kobe started 6 games year one; but started one game his second season.
your point is just dumb no matter how many times u repeat it and I destroy it u don’t even understand the players on this team, yet you’re running your mouth…stop the nonsense

Not exactly G.O.A.T. status out of the blocks for Kobe. Which goes to my point all along that some players need seasoning and marinating before, KaPow
Now RPM from ESPN just yet, but here is the PER. We all know that no one stat is perfect, but typically our best players have the best PER on the team year in and year out. https://www.espn.com/nba/team/stats/_/name/hou The Starters KPJ - 6.46 Green - 15.79 Tate - 15.93 Wood - 24.89 Theis - 10.61 Sengun - 16.66 Gordon - 13.76 House - 1.91 Nwaba - 12.16 Augustin - 3.73
your understanding of basketball is at a grade school level talking about Jalen Green should come off the bench…that’s the only kid thing here
I actually really like DD and have always appreciated his posts for what is now decades. He is way off in my opinion on Green not starting though. Way off
Worst groupings with at least 24 minutes together 2 man 1 : Gordon/Green(40 minutes) : -35.7 2 : Gordon/Augustin(36 minutes) : -20.5 3 : Green/Theis(59 minutes) : -18.2 4 : Green/Wood(76 minutes) : -11.0 5 : Theis/Wood(56 minutes) : -10.9 6 : Porter/Green(77 minutes) : -6.0 3 man 1 : Wood/Theis/Green(54 minutes) : -14.7 2 : Theis/Porter/Green(52 minutes) : -7.2 3 : Theis/Tate/Green(45 minutes) : -6.2 4 : Porter/Tate/Green(65 minutes) : -5.0 5 : Wood/Porter/Green(66 minutes) : -4.3
So from this, I gather opposing teams play their best players against the Rockets starters. I'm a little surprised to see Gordon and Green number 1.
