3 towers lineup in Cleveland is not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Glad to see the New Look Bulls at 2-0 after the disaster that was the last 3-4 "New Look Bulls"

It should have been Mobley :(

I'll be honest, and my posts will back this up. I was originally a Mobley guy after watching Green struggle to beat guys off the dribble in the g league. Then I got swept up in the Green hype. I know it is early, but I am very nervous.

right now Scottie Barnes looks better than them both.

it’s so early. Situation also matters. All 3 guys would look better on the Raptors than the Rockets or Cavs (or Magic if bringing Suggs into the debate). Give it time.

    when will Cade finally play?

yeah right now green is not even getting touches at all because no one is passing him the ball. Cade not going on the 3 game road trip so it's going to be awhile for cade.

I dont see Jalen putting up enough stats to compete with the stat stuffing stats of Mobley and Barnes to get ROY.

Barnes would have been good on the rockets. defensive big that can dribble pass and shoot that would have been perfect next to wood and kpj. Did the Rockets even work out Barnes?

Timberwhores made my hate watch list for the season after all that bullshit in game 1.
Wish they were playing a better team than the pelicans.

They might win and start to actually think they are good.

I believe the knock on Barnes was that he couldn't shoot. Is he actually hitting jumpers now?

You don't turn down an eventual 25 ppg scorer ( Green) for a 20/10 big ( Mobley) in today's NBA... 10 years ago , you take Mobley in a heartbeat... Barnes would be trash with this team IMO because he's unselfishly versatile.. He's not an alpha.. He'd be the 7th option on this team

Rubio is making Mobley look nice. Its not like he is going one on one killing people these points are from pick and roll and system play.

We legit have no one who would pass the ball to Mobley like that they cant even pass it to Green for easy layups lol.

this is both what I really really like about Mobley and what makes you still say “ok… but”. Definitely worthy of a top pick …. “But…”.

i would not be upset about having any of these guys on the team right now.

we shall see! But a Jalen needs to show continued improvement for sure.

makos related this is the difference between a “true PG” and a ball dominant scoring guard that can pass. Of which Kevin Porter is currently the later. Consider Sengun… has anyone got him an easy basket yet? Rather he’s getting others easy baskets.

the ball dominant scoring guard that is also a true PG is the best of both worlds. See CP3.

a lot of Rockets players might look better right. Ow stat wise if Rubio and not KPJ was out starting PG… but of course I’d much rather have KPJ. They will settle into an offense that looks and flows better but I hope KPJ also settles a bit more i to that true PG role.

The same thing they said about Lamelo he couldnt shoot. This is why you can never tell who is gonna be the star of the draft. Sometimes guys just play better in the NBA. I give that to coaching. Nurse is a great coach this is why during Pops prime years it seem like they got a lot of steas from the draft but Pop was a reason for that too. Getting players easy buckets early and telling them you support them is a great way to get the confidence going.

Why? 25 ppg isn’t what it used to be. What makes Mobley intriguing isn’t simply 20/10 potential. It’s the versatility on defense and his all-around offensive skills.

Anthony Edwards has definitely taken a step up.

If… and it’s a big if… the at wolves can actually stay healthy… I wound not be surprised a all time see them make the playoffs. The Beverley acquisition was very savvy of them, too. The defensive accountability he brings is huge. Even if he’s not that great himself.

Ball movement on the Bulls is pretty freaking good, good signings thus far in Ball, Caruso and DeRozan

20/10 ain't **** anymore though... Christian Wood averages that... 25 ppg by his 3rd season would be huge if he does it the right way... meaning slashing, transition baskets, and foul shooting... That opens up more for others than what a 20/10 guy does for others... IN TODAYS NBA!!
