When they play in the NL ballpark do they roll with Yordon in left, Tucker in center, and Brantley in right field? That's the worst outfield defense but it would be tough to sit any of those guys.

I'm still buzzing over this. I missed most of the game but did see Tucker's HR and the bottom of the 9th. Looking forward to watching the condensed game later today.

My wife and daughter have never watched a single baseball game until last night. They were into it. My wife said Yordan was doing everything.

I'm a lesser casual but when I saw King Tuck getting ready to bat I was saying to myself what is this skinny dude finna do.

They will certainly do it when Framber's pitching in an NL park, which would theoretically be game 1 or 5.

Yordan won't sit under any circumstance, but I can see them not starting Brantley depending on matchup and situation. Having the professional in reserve for a key AB wouldn't be a terrible thing.

When the Astros brought in Osuna, it changed the dynamic a little bit, because all the Astros players prior to that were fairly clean, likeable guys (sign stealing stuff aside, obviously). I said it at the time and I've said it since, but I want guys on the team I can root for. I love that he's the closer of this team now and that Osuna's gone. I hope Pressley stays in Houston as long as he can bring value to the team.

Yordan is better than Brantley now defensively... Brantley has really lost that much speed

I want the Braves mainly for getting home field advantage.

Although truth be told, this team arguably looks better on the road.

But the World Series needs to start at Minute Maid.

if that's really the case, I say you put McCormack/Siri/Meyers in center and sit Brantley for 2 of those 3 games in Atlanta and 1 of the first 2 at Dodger stadium, depending on who we play.

McCormack's bat vs Brantley is a wash at this point.

So do we want this Atlanta series to go 7?

Read it. Lost count at all the backhanded compliments. Shouldn't every title won by steroids users be "Disgraced" by that same logic

Where's his apology for the Red Sox Cheating with the Apple Watches? Oh yeah. Convenient memory. Admit it. HOUSTON was the scapegoat for the same sins being practiced all over baseball. Every single finger pointer is a HYPOCRITE!

Why not? Game 7 is Sunday, game 1 is Tuesday with each team having to travel regardless who wins.

The only downside is that the Astros won't know their travel plans (if any) until after Sunday's game.

It would be hard to sit any of those guys. And going with matchups, there aren't too many vs LAD or ATL pitchers for reference. Though, if it's L.A. and Scherzer pitches you definitely don't want to sit Brantley as he is 17 for 47 with a 1.087 OPS against him. He has hit the Braves Drew Smyly well, too. Other than that, not much to go by. Hasn't fared that well against Morton

Thanks. I like the end of that column. Here it is:

You try to get past things in your life. There might be no better way to describe the 2021 Houston Astros. They know that nobody will feel sorry for them when they get jobbed on ball-strike calls, like reliever Ryne Stanek did twice in the same eighth-inning at-bat. They know that when Correa does things like look at his wrist and tap it, saying the postseason is "my time," that it will be met with derision, even though if Fernando Tatis Jr. did it fans would love him for it. They know that outside of the 713, 281 and 832 area codes, they're still the bad guys.

And that's fine. Fans will feel how they're going to feel, because fandom is at its heart an emotional and irrational thing. But amid the booing and sneering and everything else that's about to hit the Astros, whether in Atlanta or Los Angeles, there is a kernel of truth that everyone needs to recognize, as much as it might pain them to do so.

The Astros are that damn good. So if -- or when -- they win another World Series, it shouldn't surprise anyone.
