So I guess the move here now for public school parents such as myself is to tell our kids to not take the words of teachers as gospel. That they should just hear it and listen and then think about it critically.

I do vote. Believe me. There's no persuading the cult if they can't see by now what their party has turned into. Just hoping for a majority in this gerrymandered State.
I believe it! I just haven't given up on anyone. There's always a tipping point for a lot of these poor deluded people. If you're there, you can hold them up and guide them in the right direction.
I have a family full of them. There’s not and they just get worse with age when they no longer feel it necessary to act with decorum or hold back their repressed feelings about “those people.” You can’t guide them or debate with them. They are usually older which they confuse with wiser. When you point out you are more educated they insist that means you have been brainwashed by liberal institutions so it means nothing that you have multiple degrees and they barely finished high school. All we can do is wait for them to pass on before the country can move forward.
3 billion that should.be used for mental health facilities and social services. Too many people with serious mental health issues with nowhere to go. Not enough beds. Too many children abused and neglected with not enough social service workers to look in on them enough.
And wheels finds another way to gain the support of the trumpsters... because as everyone knows... the school libraries have Penthouse magazine racks near the checkout and X-rated videotapes in the curtained off booth in the back...
