I wouldn’t have been mad but I understand why Silas didn’t. That being said he should have realized after the 2nd preseason game that Sengun need starter minutes.
I bet if he would be black from usa he would go #1 and start every game. There is no 1 reason he didnt go earlier and isnt starting now
The post battles between Kat and Sengun were the most interesting parts of that first game. Even when Sengun was getting worked, he was still putting in that effort.
i was reading the first pages of this thread ,wow, just wow. So many wrong assumptions. We need to be patient ,it is just a few months ago there were posters saying sengun would be a guy who won't get any NBA minutes.
nah man that was almost a sick play. i trust alp to limit the TOs moving forward. He is just so smart.
Given time, his teammates will get used to the unusual from Sengun, and Sengun will get better at it, in my opinion. There's little synergy on the Rockets, obviously. Most don't know the other's game and are often operating on instinct. The plays are different, that's assuming there are plays. The system is different, assuming there's a system. He's having to adapt to the quickness, size, and physicality of the NBA, as well has the different rules, heck, and the officiating that longtime observers of the game like me have yet to get used to. ;-) It's hard to believe that Sengun turned 19 two weeks before the draft. There are moments on the court when he doesn't look like a rookie, much less one that young. The guy is just a trip to watch.
Sengun is easily the smartest player out there, he's making passes that players are not expecting because we're still not used to cutting or because our guys won't know where to be or see the space that Sengun sees.
