Without McCullers, Verlander, a Strong Greinke, the young starting pitching rotation has a fragile Psyche. McCullers lead them through ChiSox... Without him they seem even more lost, unable to get past 2-3 innings. Coaches, Trainers, S&C coaches, have failed in this regard to get them ready for the postseason. Hopefully Greinke provides that leadership. Hopefully someone steps up. Maybe Meyers can help turn things around as well, Boston has been streaky in playoffs and can get on a roll. if we don't stop them today.. then ....
I have changed my mind and now appreciate all of the uninformed psychobabble being kept separate. Why look at injuries, spin rates or inning logs when we can just talk about killer instinct, pep talks or the fragile psyches of the guys who pitched excellently in last year’s postseason?
Really wanted the team to win at least one title in a year they didn’t admit to cheating. Unfortunately, this cores legacy will be one title in a year where they knew what pitches were coming.
well said Inchan... we can get back in this.. the team needs thicker skin and short term memory when it comes to mistakes... yesterday when altuve missed the double play to end the inning, you could feel the wind come out of their sails... then urquidy went down 3-0 and pitched a gopher ball that they launched for a grand slam...
The disadvantage to making threads is that when you get too emotional and post a bad take it gets highlighted. If you would have posted this in the game thread for example, it's understandable. Fans get emotional when their teams lose.
The tables have turned... to see the red sox fold was ironic.... Schwarber dwelling on his error, innings later, only to recommit them... great to see Altuve's presence, understanding the moment, and putting pressure on the red sox to force their hand... Framber must have consulted with the Zen master... loved it...
