That's what's frustrating about Maldy. 2-0 count and he swings at a sinker in the zone that he couldn't do anything with anyhow.

Good AB by Altuve so far. Making him work.

I actually don’t mind him swinging, every once in a while he jacks one out

This is why lots of great players make horrible coaches...Ted Williams is #1 prime example.

The players they're coaching can't see the game the same way.

Bagwell is actually really good in the booth at differentiating between what you do pre-AB, mentally in the box, what to look for, or in the field, as opposed to what you do while the pitch is bearing down on you at 97mph.

Hate that he struck out, but he made him really work for it. Need more AB's like that to chase him off.

    Keep it going Framber!

Hope you didn't watch the Braves send CFM up in the 2nd with the bases loaded.

He had so much success against Houston in the playoffs, he probably loves the Astros.

Knew this wasn’t going to be easy, but Sale looks dominant.

    Keep it up, Framber.

Astros have one hit. Thinking the 4th they might put something together. Chase Sale

Talked about how Altuve was shown on the iPad in the dugout his foot placement in June vs. first couple of AB's last night. He was taking too big a stride...worked it out and hit the HR in the 8th afterwords.

I like that Yuli doesn't make the pitchers run to first on every groundball to him now.

I disagree with Smoltz. He called it a different approach.....as if Framber's game plan last outing was to just fall behind hitters repeatedly. No, he's just locating pitches.
