This is why lots of great players make horrible coaches...Ted Williams is #1 prime example. The players they're coaching can't see the game the same way. Bagwell is actually really good in the booth at differentiating between what you do pre-AB, mentally in the box, what to look for, or in the field, as opposed to what you do while the pitch is bearing down on you at 97mph.

Talked about how Altuve was shown on the iPad in the dugout his foot placement in June vs. first couple of AB's last night. He was taking too big a stride...worked it out and hit the HR in the 8th afterwords.
I disagree with Smoltz. He called it a different approach.....as if Framber's game plan last outing was to just fall behind hitters repeatedly. No, he's just locating pitches.
