Went back and re watched the Brantley base clearing hit.... My god what a terrible call of the play by Buck. Seriously. Dude sounded depressed having to nonchalantly describe it. Unreal how bad that call was.
After Lance McCullers Jr went down before the series. The Starting Pitchers were going down One by One. Christian Javier said I am the best pitcher, he is proving it by a wide margin. In my heart I knew Christian is the best pitcher on the Staff, because of his easy delivery, unlike (McCullers, too much stress on his delivery, Arm Injury) Christian has the smoothest delivery and the most movement and best location with heavy velocity. Christian Javier not getting Starts over Jake Odorizzi honestly made me mad and Christian confidence was low and now he is proving how wrong the Coaches were about him. He is in a Charlie Morton, Lance McCullers Long Relief Role, which is the best for him.
Lance is by far the best pitcher on the staff. He's evolved into a top notch ace. Christian was nails tonight, and figures to have prominent role moving forward.
Amazing seeing all these dirtballs whine about one single call. You can go back to the Red Sox big blowout innings and find check swings that should’ve been strike threes or balls that should’ve been called strikes and changed the complexion of the plate appearances and innings.
