I was hopeful some team would be desperate enough to have made the deal by now, but from a risk management standpoint it just feels no GM/Owner is at that point yet. As I look at teams and standings, there looks like 9 teams that should have interest in DW. I put stars by teams I think he'd approve trades to w/o much of a thought (not sure about the others).

    1. Dolphins*
    2. Eagles
    3. Broncos*
    4. Steelers
    5. Saints*
    6. Falcons*
    7. Panthers*
    8. Giants
    9. WFT

The teams that are positioned to compete are the Saints, Panthers and Broncos. If you add Deshaun to those teams it might make a big enough difference to accept the risk. Of those teams, the Saints seem like the most likely to pull the trigger on this kind of gamble before the trade deadline.

I'll be surprised if any team makes a deal with us, unless we accept some type of protections on the picks. Waiting until there is some type of resolution seems to be the path for trade partners, but there's still a few weeks to go.

    This hasn't been proven.

It's just another way for Watson fans to deflect from the oily mess that is Deshaun Watson.

It was reported that the Eagles had a deal and Watson vetoed it. The Texans should force him to play or not get a pay check, until he concedes to waive his no trade. If he goes to a “contender” our compensation will suck. If he goes to Phili, Falcons, Giants, near the trade deadline the comp will be much better.

Yeah, it's pretty weird having a situation where a player refuses to play for your team and demands to be traded, but then also dictates who he's willing to be traded to. I imagine he's trying to force himself into a deal that leads him to the glam of Miami versus the tough crowds he'll need to overcome in Philly.

Sure it hasn't been proven but neither has what Deshaun did if that's what you want to go by. And no one is here defending Deshaun. He definitely did something illegal. All I was saying is that I believe he will play again soon because others in the league have committed just as bad or worse crimes. Robert Kraft included.

It's pretty obvious it happened at Orchid Spa considering the fbi was watching that spa for a full year under the assumption of trafficking. It's kinda funny how a rich white guy comes in and all of a sudden they don't have sufficient evidence against the spa owner. This was an interesting article about the spa and also showing why even if they were trafficked a lot of these women's can't speak English and are afraid to talk to police. You can believe what you want but my belief is that this spa was definitely guilty.

The Kraft thing only came out because of the sex trafficking investigation. That said, there is zero indication they were underage and no indication Kraft knew they were possibly sex trafficking victims.

Sad, but true. You don't have to dig deep to find a bunch of women abusers and violent men in the NFL.

As I've said all offseason. Trade him for the three Philly picks and be done.

Because if he knew, that would make him a bad person guilty of more than solicitation. If he didn't know it just makes him a horny old man that was conducting a business transaction.
