I agree to some extent, but unless Gerrit Cole was going to stay and Verlander and Greinke were going to defeat Father Time, I don’t think it would matter. This team can still hit, so that is not an issue. Again the issue is pitching, specifically starting pitching. Think about it, looking at this team, can you honestly say that Dallas Keuchel would not be the best starter on this team? Did not want to pay him. Charlie Morton? Let him leave. Gerrit Cole we did not have a choice as he clearly had NYC or LA on his mind (or rather his wife did), and that is fine. It just seems that when it comes to pitching, this team has had a blind spot.
I turned off the game after the GS. Turned it back on. Don't know why. Now I've come to vent. Nice for you to show up Yordan.
I think it's time to shake up the order just to jar them into some life... How about... Altuve Tucker Correa Yordan Bregman Gurriel Brantley McCormick Castro I also think they need Greinke's experience out there... it will look way too suspicious to drill him with whatever Boston has been doing... they may let up a game...
correa is a lower. DO NOT pay this guy 350 million over 10 years. red sox didn't fall into the mookie betts trap and are fine. we need more pitching.
