    Marvel shows are Disney+'s bread and butter now. I think they thought Star Wars was going to be bigger but the sequel trilogy fiasco really kicked the fans in the nuts and they lost a lot of viewers.

    I'm good with it. So far their live action shows have been better than average live action fair and really give the MCU that ongoing comic vibe.

    Honestly, there's not one downside to having a TV series based off something minor in a movie if you're a big (read: BIG) company and your streaming service is still a fledgling.

    Story-wise: Allows an expansion of the world of Shang-Chi and the TV series can be 3 episodes or 30. It can say as much or as little as you want it to. A whole movie dedicated to just the Ten Rings might be a bit too ambitious. Allows movie stars to cameo and stories to intersect.

    Business-wise: Promotes renewed interest in Shang-Chi since there's a lot of time in between movies. You give fans 'food' at a steady rate instead of starving them and then giving them a buffet. Drums up more interest in subscribing to Disney+.

    The marvel tv shows are easy mindless fun. I enjoy watching them more than most tv. Keep em coming.

    exactly, lol. I'm going to watch, but so much content means nothing is special. I got Marvel content at the finger tips at all times. No time to breath.

    Disney is unique
    Disney Plus is sustaining and thriving by releasing fractions of new shows that Netflix is releasing
    Disney releases Marvel Shows to keep them in the social zeitgast until the next movie
    Mandalorian did more for the Star Wars universe than any of the movies. . . in fact people are now thinking . .. IF THE MOVIES ARE LIKE THIS .. . .

    Meanwhile
    Netflix has to drop like 10~20 shows a week
