How old are Whitworth, Brown etc... are you happy with their play at their age?

Mr. Positivity. You do realize most NFL quarterbacks who lasted a career of more than 5 years didn't look great their rookie year, especially with a cast surrounding them like ours. No All Star star running backs. No All Star type star cornerbacks, no great offensive lineman. No Watt or Clowney types. Give the kid a break. He's only played like 21 games since high school.

Watson wasn't the savior you make him out to be. They were 4-12 with him at QB last year and contrary to what some around here believe, Watson contributed to that 4-12.

Trading Watson and picking high in next yrs draft along with getting picks for Watson should allow the rebuild to go alot faster than you're imagining. As long as Caserio is good at his job.

Mills has done a good job.

Gotta fix the OL and secondary. A pass rusher wouldn't hurt either.

    Relax.

I'm mostly just screwing around. Didn't realize I had the ability to change a thread title. Had never tried.

Besides, I wouldn't want to change it too much, so people can laugh at me in the future.

Ehhh we lost some games last year because of some unbelievable bad luck. The titans game, the colts games, we could have had that Vikings game last year too

Considering his QB rating for 2021 is about the same as the #1 pick in the 2021 draft, I myself am not rushing to make that judgement on a guy with 21 games of experience since high school. After all, he has a weak offensive line, no star receivers, no star defensive players, and no star running backs. That definitely makes a difference when judging a rookie QB.

    Our running backs:
    Ingram #32 (285 yds)
    Lindsey #74 (89 yds)

Our top defensive guys in tackles
    Kirksey #24 in tackles
    Cunningham #62

Brandin Cooks is our best receiver ranked #36 68.1%

    Our bright spots are
    Terrence Mitchell #3 (3 FF)
    Justin Reed #6 Interceptions

    So, 3 of our last 4 games, we've scored 0, 3, and 5.

Who is to blame for that?

Mills may have potential, but he's not the future of the franchise. We need to quit calling plays to hide his weaknesses. Sink or swim baby.

His stats are not great, but they look decent compared to the other rookies because we're playing with extremely clunky training wheels.

Classic Texans to say that "ohh...Mills is doing pretty good."

    It's not good enough.

Are they calling plays to hide him? Or the back up Oline? Or the 4 over the hill RBs?
What do you expect him to do?

He's got potential, but most likely as a backup.

I'm just trying to play nice and hedge my bets here. Lol

Actually, special teams (with a little help from O and D) put 5 on the board.

If that punt gets into the end zone we get shut out.

This man ain't my qb, no matter what u Mills fan say.
he has shown more sht games than positive games.

Tyrod should b our placeholder qb until we draft a superstar.

    dude,
Season was lost from the get go = BoB coaching, BoB mismanagement of players -> transition into a new coach/system after we fired his ass. We were even lucky to win 4 games with Watson. Watson is a bonafide elite qb who would shine anywhere but in sht organizations like lions, texans, etc.
No qb would have succeed in this position no matter how great u think they are.

Look at our roster right now, weakass offensive line, no star receivers, no star defensive players, and no star running back.

Dont even get me started on religious charlatan.

Fact stand Watson could save so many teams, it just we can't get rid of him cause he can veto the trades if we tried sending him to a sht place

Luckily for you, you can root for the Panthers or Dolphins soon.
