Note to Silas and the Stoners: waste your life starting Sengun. He has a ton of athletic ability and fits perfectly out there with the starters. Both Theis and House are “backup” material and need to play their roles effectively for this team to compete. This means releasing House and telling Theis it’s about leadership by going to the bench in favor of the great Sengun.

    We should all be Goonies.

He just has a positive impact everywhere on the court despite being the youngest player on the team. If his cardio can handle the minutes, he should be starting and given starters minutes immediately.

He might be the best passer on the team.

He needs to stay on the treadmill for a few weeks and get that stamina down. Then he needs to make sure to stay out of foul trouble.
    Otherwise? He aite.

This guy is really a STAR in the making, If you compare him and Mobley's numbers not just the points, rebounds and blocks but the minutes he played Sengun is better than him. Now both players are going to be STARS but we had a great draft. The more minutes he plays the better the numbers he produces.

    I'm so high on Sengun

    So effing high.

If Wood & Sengun can't find some chemistry I'd trade Wood.

I might be too high on Sengun

I did notice Sengun sucking wind before the first time Silas pulled him last game. Yes he deserves to start and deserves to star, but I’m not going to blame the coaching staff (yet) if they want to bring him along slowly and get his conditioning up first.

    checkers vs chess
While kpj, jg, jaygup n garuba still feeling the games n learning the situations, it's SENGOON who let us seeing a silver lining, keeping us from bored to death in those 'meaningless' preseason games.
no offense to 'only fans', but SENGOON n the crew reminds me a little bit first yr joker n his young'uns among which joker had appeared to be more mature n more standout.

Admittedly I haven't watched much preseason, but feel like he should earn it. Tate/Wood/Theis should be the frontcourt to start the season.

He's the first big-time high school prospect to choose the G league over college. The NBA needs him to be big-time so more high school phenoms will choose to go this route in the future.

Wood had his best game BECAUSE of Sengun. The guy does so many things that makes the game easier for other players. KPJ finally started to create off the PNR attacking the basket in the 2nd half because of Sengun.

He absolutely needs to be starting over Theis. I don’t hate Theis but he could end up as a pretty worthless signing. The depth I guess is nice to have but still.

We could have had Olynyk with roughly the same money, that was a MAJOR mistake, he was a team first guy with major skills for a big.

Ive been harping on this for weeks. I thought resigning Olynyk was essential because he actually makes the young guys better by doing so many of those little things. Hopefully Sengun is that and much more although I’m sure he’ll hit a rookie wall at some point.
