    Exum probably deserved some run but we’re invested in the development of guys ahead of him and who we think will be better players in the future. Cutting him is as much an opportunity for him to sign on with someone else and play as anything.

    The Rockets actually lose more money waiving him than House. But House has a higher trade value than Exum.
