Garcia has been mediocre for awhile but what exactly was Dusty gonna do? Makes more sense to have him pitch at home and Urquidy on the road. Maybe should’ve thought about a 3 inning Grenkie start? Idk but this was very predictable. No one alive had any reason but to expect Garcia to struggle against a lineup as good as Boston’s.

Garcia was the right move today, it just hasn’t so far worked out. He can settle down and rack up a few innings to make up for that **** first.
true , but weve been giving him more rest his fastball is still hitting 95 not like we have that many other options. it was worth giving him a shot. worth it keeping him out there a bit and seeing if he settles down
