Kudos to whomever gave the bull pen a pep talk prior to game 1, knowing McCullers is out for the series... Even our worst bullpen pitchers overachieved. Amazing. We needed it.
Honest question why does clutchfans get mad at people making threads? I’m still somewhat new here but I like threads. Isn’t that the point of the bbs? To make threads?
Cause its redundant with no point. Just discuss it in the main thread, if its a good point then it will gain its legs in there. Here, its just another thread nobody cares about and have to scroll past on the main Astros forum.
I think it’s fun and entertaining when people make goofy threads. too many boomers with something up their you know what. let OP have fun!
This is just one game in what is likely to be a long series. For that matter this game isn't over yet. This site is called "Clutchfans" after "Clutchcity" we've seen Houston teams get beat badly only to come back. Finally.. WAS IT OVER WHEN THE GERMANS BOMBED PEARL HARBOR?!! NO!!
you would think but not here, apparently they want 17 simultaneous discussions going on in the same thread While this particular one could have just been a passing comment placed in the ALCS thread, there are others like the game 4 starter that deserves it's own separate discussion, since it's such a big deal. But sadly that was crapped on.
No - the point of a BBS is to facilitate quality discussions. I'd think just out of best respect, newer posters would observe how a forum operates before jumping in and doing things their own way - it just seems like common politeness. If there are fewer threads, maybe you don't treat the place as your personal twitter account. If there's endless threads (like GARM), then maybe it's more OK. If you walk into a restaurant and the atmosphere is quiet, you (hopefully) try to do the same with your party instead of being loud and boisterous. If it's a rowdy atmosphere, it's more OK to also be loud. It's no different online. This particular poster joined less than a month ago, has 14 total posts, and has started 6 threads. He's not even participating in his own discussions.
