I've read the report and yes it says in the report exactly that. The players "tried' it in the 2017 post-season but the combination of how loud it was and the signs being changed up and way too complicated made it ineffective, the players admitted this so they couldn't use it BUT because they tried they cheated....and yes they quit using it in the first month of 2018 IIRC. I still challenge anyone to find audio of banging in the 2017 playoffs, you can't hear it. Every pitch of the WS is online, where is the banging?
I know for a fact that Rondon hit Altuve on purpose. Did you see the way he walked toward home plate and stared at Altuve goading a response out of him? He was unapologetic! And, then the fans were all supporting the move to peg Altuve. And, Larussa just sat in the dugout with a smug look on his face! They were all dishonest and short on character. ADMIT IT! GUILTY!
Learn how to lose with class and dignity, LaRussa. You are 77 years old; you should have learned this life lesson by now.
This went from a highly-anticipated matchup between two of baseball’s best and most exciting teams to an absolute ass-waxing. LOL
I just taught for about my last ten years in Judo. Still had a lot of fun doing it. I got to train a women's US champion along with a lot of other fine students. Also during that time I got a promotion from an international group of Sensei and a career ending knee injury. You gotta be willing to take the bad with the good. All worth it.
This exactly. I've mostly been coaching and refereeing the last 12 years although did drag my carcass out to compete in US Senior Nationals two years ago. A separated shoulder 14 years ago ended my serious competition career. I still enjoy doing Randori but do less of it these days and don't go all out. It's also been hard getting back from the year and half layoff. While my body was actually healthier as finally got the chance to heal up some longstanding injuries am not as conditioned or as sharp as before.
