Diving catch that saves 2 runs. An error that gives them a few runs. 4 run difference but this is Playoff Baseball - Every play counts. Glad to get the W
Obviously Altuve and Correa will get a lot of the credit for the win, and the bullpen as a whole will get some shine. But the low key MVP tonight was Javier. He comes in after Boston has gained all the momentum, their offense looks unstoppable and there's still six innings left, and he just completely dominated them for two innings with four strikeouts. I'm just saying, if he can go 4-5 innings, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a Game 5 start over Framber.
You know what's annoying? People saying that the Astros "have embraced the villain role." Astros are now peoples favorite villain. Astros haven't embraced that villain sh*t. Astros (mainly Sweet small Jose Altuve) are being yelled at indiscriminately and they just take it and keep it moving because they are mentally tough and people out here saying they embraced villainy.
This is a weird idea, but I would stop throwing him pitches right down the middle of the damn plate. That's just me, though.
I don’t think there will be any easy W’s in this series. Two very good offensive teams and pitchers have to earn every out. Hernandez is on another planet right now but fortunately we have a couple of the all time greats on our side. what a game and what a performance by the pen. By the time this series is over, each team will have had plenty of looks at just about every pitcher on both sides.
Easy now. There is a time and a place to crap all over Jose Altuve. Then he embarrasses us, lather, rinse, repeat.
Who else stuck out their tongue with Hernandez couldn't gun down Yuli? Already cant stand that guy... and the Sox have a lot of those faces that you just want to punch
Graveman and Pressly definitely shaky outings, not inspiring a ton of confidence moving forward. Graveman has serious control issues at this point. Pressly had 4 hard hit balls in 4 batters.
The Goats did their thang, so did Dusty and the bullpen. Sparky with the artistic interpretation, paaara la calle. Must be the best call I've heard all year.
