This is where I believe in announcing bias. They talk about and scheme how a Red Sox hitter can get on base, get a hit etc. the whole time they’re up and then when the RS pitching gets up it how can they get an out rather then what can HST do to get going. When they do that it becomes obvious.
This game has been defined by two plays. Sensational catch to save runs by the Redsox. Error on a ball hit between the legs of another player. The little things matter in each game.
Jake Meyers must not be quite ready. Otherwise assume he would have been in tonight over McCormick. Meyers has been on an offensive tear.
I hate the big market blue bloods, period, and the media bias and favoritism they receive. They're not the only teams, for Christ's sake.
Our 8/9 hitters need to be instructed to lean into pitches. Try to get hit at all costs in order to get on base.
Chas hasn't been bad either though. He's already got a hit this game. Don't get me wrong, I love what I've seen from Myers and I hope he's our every day starter next year so we can see what he has over a longer period of time, but Chas isn't just a huge drop off.
Will we get an "evenly " called game...at any time ? My goodness...it's unreal ! All strategy is pro Red Sox !
