Have you seen Giddey?

 

I believe in Green he just needs to diversify his bag. When I see these athletic rooks train all they do is dunk. Thats not going to fly in the NBA. Even Giannis has euro-step and other stuff

 

Not really, probably better to focus on developing Green/Sengun, if KPJ is any good he'll learn how to do well anyhow.

 

Come back to me after you’ve seen him for half the season. He could be good but he has nowhere near the ceiling Jalen has.

 

If Green has Westbrook’s shooting, I don’t think he will be a star player.

 

I see more offense this game but...they look confused as to what's actually going on.

Which is why it's probably a good idea to run your 'actual' offense in the preseason so the guys can get SOME chemistry.

 

Green needs STRENGTH before he can develop his game.

He is getting abused out there coming AND going.

 

Everyone's focused on Green's offense and complaining about his lack of responsibility on offense but watch him on defense. It's not normal to be such an easy target.

Yeah I thought it was weird that chemistry building was the goal but they weren't gonna run the offense. Seemed like a weird choice

Did Green even bring the ball up for a single possession that half? He's just not touching the ball enough and still seems shook from getting beat down by OG Anunoby in Toronto

 

I'm not the first to say this, they should run some plays for Green. Just because someone has a head start in that area don't mean they don't need help or have plays run for them.

Put him in a situation to succeed. If Green and KPJ are hitting their shots; it'll make it easier on the rest. Spurs is packing the paint and playing the passing lanes.

Giddey has looked like a generational passer. Green has shown me nothing. I gave him credit for jumping and maybe shooting. I may have been wrong, there’s no way someone who can really jump would be blocked so many times. Maybe jump, maybe shoot.

 

I could see the Rockets parting ways with Silas during the season and letting Lucas finish the year as interim. Silas doesn’t seem to have a plan for Scoot and Jalen.

 

I don't think Green knows how to be impactful on offense other than to start with an iso. Doesn't even try to get the ball except if on the 3-line.
