Rockets buyout Ibaka and let Love’s 30m come off the books next offseason. This move would also open up a spot for Thomas to come back.

Philly gets a young PG who can shoot and two vet wing players.

I'm growing to be a big fan of Stone but that could be torpedoed very quickly depending on how this shakes out.

 

Id be happy to use him to get off Gordon, House and swap Wood for Turner.

Could it be that the rockets are just hanging around in the hope that the market for Simmons is so cold and the 6ers get so desperate, that they are willing to do a John wall swap? Simmons appears to be a negative asset with his contract, maybe Philly throws in additional compensation.

even then, would Houston want to tie up all that cap space for 4 more years on Simmons?

That lineup will be great at building entire apartment complexes with all the bricks we end up throwing up. Simmons need shooters and swapping him for Wood and Ego gets rid of our 2nd and 3rd best shooters.

Why would you want both Simmons' and Wall's contracts on the books at the same time? And if you trade Wood, aren't you giving up exactly the kind of player you'd need to surround Simmons with?
