assistant coaches usually spend more time, not less, with the players

I know, maybe I was unclear. What I was saying was that I don't doubt Silas' ability to help the personal development of players or even their skills but what I do question is his ability to have some structure in the offense. Where on other teams with other players he didn't have that extra responsibility and those players got his teaching plus structure in the offense. He could focus on what he is good at. Again I hope you're right and the seeming lack of flow or structure is just young players learning a new system. That could very well be the case I just have some reservations

Not a Silas fan at the moment. I think he’s a placeholder

First the translator, now Horny's daughter.

Why do you not want us to have good things?

You may be right - I'm not really an x's and o's type of basketball fan as it's extremely complex in the NBA and back in my day in organized ball they only ran the princeton offense which was designed for non-athletic players such as myself haha.

But if Silas is only great at player development and sucks at everything else, then he is in fact the perfect coach for this team. Develop the players individually - a crappy offensive system is actually ideal as it will secure us better picks in the draft and more talent.

yes, i am sure it's the fans fault as for the reason the Rockets suck. That makes total sense!

honestly this is not hard to do... i do it everyday on local playground if there are right teammates... you just have to be playful, patient and not too eager to shoot at the first rays of sunlight

this is fun and not hard... just be patient... dont just jack up the 3 EGO style...and these kind of possessions are the one that kills the other team morale... be smart... winning is 80% psychology

yes, but in NBA playoffs and high leverage game situations these actions get sniffed out and things stagnate. You need a superb individual player ‘s gravity to distort the defense, or if it doesn’t get distorted, to be able to cook one-on-one.
Truth is, there is no simple recipe for winning basketball. Devil is in details, in coach’s ability to fine-tune his system, maximize his player talents, tweaks, nuances, adjustments, etc. All oversimplifications ultimately fail. (i.e. the Morey-ball fraud)

nice thinking, but are you aware what you just wrote is an oversimplification itself?
