Tucker and Alvarez have had pitches to hit and just missed them. Hopefully that will even out soon

So far on the outs:

-Bregman got f'd by the strike call
-Alvarez went out of the zone for a strike out
-Yuli f'd himself chasing on a 2-0 pitch

Only 2 outs that were decent were Brantley moving Altuve over and Tucker just missing a hit.

Sigh.... First time through the order, not great. Let's get three more outs and try again. Hate that Maldy leads off the inning, though.

 

Good news is that Rodon's velocity already dropping. Lets see what Round 2 of At Bats will do.

Great ABs by Carlos and Tucker, Meyers just was off on a hittable pitch

Rodon is going to pitch himself out soon, adrenaline rush fading

 

Wish Yuli would have made him work. He had him 2-0. Liked the AB by Tucker. Bodes well that Tuve, Los and Tucker seemed to have him timed well. Need another good inning out of Lance

 

With Rodon having decent velocity today, should Astros be trying to work more counts than first pitch swings? Or does that just give him the advantage?

 

Both Yuli and Yordan are chasing **** they have no business chasing. Make this guy throw more pitches, and work the count better. I was all for jumping on him early, but now that he's settled in, it's time to test his endurance.
