For a year of Kyrie's salary I'd let the government inject with me 5G nanobots for sure for sure. Like ****ing definitely would do it for less too. Better internet and enough money to retire young? Yes, absolutely yes. Eye rolls for the king of eye-roll commentary. The guy can't help himself, what a bozo.

I'd almost even get it if his team weren't expected to be in contention. What is he scared of more, the shots or the expectation to win?

    Total jabroni.

Kyrie has done some great stuff in his career, but does he become considered a could have been. This is three stops, and he's had issues at all three. ( Even when you think about it, he caused issues on his team in Uncle Drew lol)

No. Disney ring does not count. [SKIP]Matter of fact, LeBron has one 100% legit championship: the first one with the Heat.[/SKIP]

im concerned about what im seeeing when it comes to the on court chemistry of the nets. They look like they have never played together before.

if im steve nash i would have james johnson and bembry being secondary ball handlers when harden is on the court, because teams are just gonna pick up harden full court to try and wear him out. This to me is where kyrie is missed the most.

If Durant and Harden stays healthy the Nets can still sleep walk into a 50-win season though.

Harden is built like a tank, rarely get injured. Plus harden or Durant alone can carry an eastern team to playoffs.

Sure a monumental collapse could happen where both miss significant amount of time but you're projecting the extremes of extremes. Healthy =/= play all 82 games. Even without Irving or Durant last year, Harden was able to carry the Nets to better than .500.

Harden is 32, doesn’t take good care of his body, and has a ton of wear. One day people are gonna look up and Harden isn’t “MVP Harden” anymore.

The Nets are trying to win a title, not just get into the playoffs. Anything short of that compromises their future together and their trust in each other.

I'm assuming Jim and Kevin gave their okay on this which makes it all the more interesting.

Maybe but it would be shortsighted of them to not think about how this would impact the team come playoffs. Maybe mandates/restrictions will change come June/July but that's one big roll of the dice here. They need Kyrie in the postseason and if he can't play in home games that would hurt.

Healthy also =/= Healthy for the playoffs.

Harden gonna burn himself out trying to carry a depleted roster all year and burn himself out in the playoffs like we’ve seen him do many times.

Those stepback bricks are gonna sound like a Mossberg 500 in a Game 6 elimination

I'm not sure why you're stressing the playoffs when my response was to your suggestion that our Nets' picks are "looking good". Even if the Nets crawl and only manages make it to the playoffs as an 8th seed that pick is still not in the lottery. If they miss the playoffs completely and neither Harden nor Durant goes down for an entire year (which would be a really weird scenario given that either player can carry a team of league average players to at least 45 wins), it's still a low lottery pick at best. Sure a doomsday scenario for that team and its fans would be for all three of their franchise players to go down for the entire year and, yes, I'll agree that would look favorable for us.

Maybe I misunderstood your "looking good" comment as describing the pick to be a high lottery (e.g. top 7) pick so I'll step back and ask what does "looking good" in terms of the Nets pick mean in your POV?
