When did Jones go down? I feel like it was in the 1st half. Yea, both bad signs. Hopefully Sark can beef up our D-depth with some quality recruiting.
We have 7 currently committed for the 22 class. Need to hit on our OL targets and whoever we go after in the portal. Both losses were lost in the trenches IMO.
I lived in West Campus when Gideon dropped the interception before Crabtree scored and when Colt got hurt against Alabama. Those two days were much worse than this OU game.
https://247sports.com/college/texas...-stars-Tennessee-Georgia-Texas-LSU-173064345/ Arch back in Austin No. 25 Texas takes on No. 12 Oklahoma State, and the 247Sports Composite’s No. 1 recruit in New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman five-star quarterback Arch Manning returns to Austin after a terrific visit this past summer. Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian will actually be at Isidore Newman on Thursday night to watch Manning play. All Gas No Brakes is the mantra for both programs this season and the Newman coaching staff has built a great rapport with Sarkisian and company, as has the Manning family as well. Texas is a major contender for Manning alongside Georgia, Alabama, Clemson and Ole Miss. He was at UGA’s win over South Carolina and the Crimson Tide’s victory over Ole Miss earlier this season. He’ll return to Oxford for the LSU game later this fall and he’ll be at the Tigers home game against Florida State as well. Big OLs and more five-stars making their way to Texas Five official visitors for Texas this weekend. None bigger than the nation’s No. 2 interior offensive lineman Earnest Greene. Greene and five-star Devon Campbell (the country’s No. 1 interior offensive lineman) both have the Longhorns near the top of their list and you won't find two more important recruits remaining in the 2022 cycle for Sarikisan and his staff as he works to overhaul an offensive line that has had its fair share of struggles. Those two are potential program changers and this week Texas will work to make a move on Georgia for Greene. The other three officials this weekend are five-star safety Jacoby Mathews, a former LSU commit who recently said Texas A&M is on top but the Burnt Orange is charging here, Quency Wiggins who would complete a terrific d-line haul, four-star offensive tackle Malik Agbo and former Arizona State defensive back commit Larry Turner-Gooden who Texas has been on as long as any other program. Horns247 has the scoop that the nation’s No. 1 tight end Jaleel Skinner will back at Texas. He recently committed to Alabama over the Longhorns but he loved his official to Austin in June and his parents also have a great relationship with the Texas staff. Manning isn’t the only five-star junior expected with his buddy in running back Rueben Owens also returning and top-ranked linebacker Anthony Hill also returning per Horns247.
