Nice game but Chicago is soft in the middle but he has talent. I rather have Green he is elite as well.

Mobley, like Green, still lacks NBA body for his position. I liked what Cavs did last night though, shifting him down to 3, with J.Allen and Markanen also playing 4/5. And Okoro as a big SG. The spacing cultists and the midget-ball Morey groupies would probably be fainting, but that line-up looked quite competent.

I want to see Jalen Green play second unit with Garuda, Theis, Exum and Tate. These are our most physical guys, they would protect Green, set screens for him, trying to get him open lanes. Extreme usage for Green to get his reps as the main scorer. Reminiscent of what Philly did back in the day with Iverson: another slender scorer, who they surrounded with physicality…

He can't play Center and playing as Chris Bosh stretch Forward.

I think that will be the only position he will ever play, he is a taller Chris Bosh, Evan is not a physical, stronger post move Center.

Mobley might finish top 5 in blocks as a rookie, might even lead the league in blocks. He seems to collect blocks with ease.

Who knows how good he's going to be, it really is up to him, his potential I still feel is the highest of the bunch outside of Barnes just because of their builds. Barnes already has an NBA body for his position though while Evan still has to fill out but even if he doesn't fill out if he acquires good shooting and handling then you can put him at any position and be fine because of his ability to switch out and defend 1-5.

He doesn't have superstar written all over his highlights. Think we made the right choice. But his length makes him a player in the league for sure. Blocks are a small part of the game in the big picture because guys like Harden will not let it happen. He has shown up put of the gate though. And that's step one.

On the other hand Green hasn't proven he can't get blocked yet. His drives through the lane can be chaotic. So he has to learn how to absorb the contact and get to the foul line, or finish. Haven't seen that yet. But he has star potential written all over his style of play. I'd say he has outplayed Suggs, Mobley, and Cunningham to this point.

has cunningham even played in preseason yet?

regarding mobley i actually saw most of this game.. he was impactful defensively in the paint all game, but not offensively until CHI cleared their bench

    So he CAN defend guards.

Was told this was a myth because talent in college did not match up to NBA.

Or that his defense would not translate.

That's a pretty big step forward considering it only took one legendary preseason game for the Rockets front office to fork over $42 million to Kelvin Cato.
