Yeah, if some of you still don’t see Davis Mills potential, you should probably start paying better attention. He’s obviously not there yet, but he’s getting closer. He needs time and coaching, but the tools are mostly there.

 

They are still reeling from watching Wilder get knocked out last night.

 

Mills really feeling himself, tried to juke the defender like he was going to escape, lol

 

For sure he could go either way at this point. He's shown enough to warrant giving him a bit of slack and not being too harsh about him struggling vs some of the top defenses in the league his very first season.

 

Gotta be 4 down territory as Fairbum can't even make an XP

I got to say the hoodie laser tag uniform the coaches are wearing has got to go

 

Mills is holding on to the ball WAY too long after his early success. A lot of young QB's make that mistake.

 

Damn disappointing Texans should have at least 6 oh well. I have no faith in Kai to get 3

And it’s frustrating, thought they were turning the page with better Oline coaching.

 

Mills is playing more comfortable today. Moving around like he's not overthinking. Needs to get rid of the ball a bit quicker, but definitely showing some potential.

 

I'm not bashing them for sacks the QB causes by holding on to the ball too long. It was the same with Watson. It's the QB's job to get the ball out. If they fail to do so, it's either on them or on the receiving targets for not getting open.....or on the play caller for calling a play that didn't get guys open quickly enough.
