What's your point? House can play decent enough when the team has a star and he is playing within himself. I just don't consider him ever as good as some folks did. I honestly don't give a damn anymore about bubble gate. I remember rolling my eyes and grumbling about it, but ultimately I understand young people make really dumb decisions, especially when the are thinking with their dicks instead of their brains. Sucks? Yes. Dumb? Absolutely. Understandable at some level? Yes, it's hard for young men to turn down sex.
I'm not a big fan of giving Augustin minutes. I think it's always good to keep a veteran or two around, but his 11 minutes could really have gone to Brooks or Christopher. His trade value is incredibly limited, and at best packaged with someone else. Even Exum would have been a better use of those 11 minutes since he has higher potential value.
Honestly feel that we should package Tate with Wall. He’s 6’5 and already 25. He can’t be playing SF/PF I think he’s just too short I’d rather make more minutes for JC & KJ and maybe Garuba I say sell him why he is hot cause I just think 6’5 is too short for his position against good teams with KD, Lebron, ect
OP wanted extra hot takes. Similar game, physical attributes, and approach to the game. Also Westbrook is garbage. JC could be a good version of Russ. Maybe not as beloved by the media but we can appreciate him here just fine.
Still not sure Silas can actually coach. Everyone gives him a pass for last season but this dude is looking pretty sus still.
Hot take after game 2.... This team actually needs more veterans on the court. Not necessarily John Wall, lol... and not necessarily to win, but for development sake. That aside, CWood and KMartJr are concerning for me so far. They both "seem" to have regressed in a sense. Which to me is due to the lack of a system and steady rotation. SO some of that might just be pre-season stuff. If not, it's in Silas' court. And House... yikes. Oh, and again... they all try to do to much. Again, Alpi probably out here thinking "just play smart, team basketball, wtf??"
Wow! I was thinking the exact same thing. They need a veteran presence, a leader, especially in the starting unit. There's no ball movement, no defensive effort, a lot of one-on-one. I mentioned trading for Ben Simmons earlier but the shooting thus far has been poor and adding Simmons won't help that but he will help with the defense. And last, the REBOUNDING! We are getting beat like a drum....it's like watching the varsity against the jv
I saw a lot of improvement in KPJ’s defense this game. Green is trying, but his defense is horrible at this point.
Tate held his own guarding the best offensive players last year. He is thick and has long arms. No one can guard Lebrun or KD but he did a pretty good job being pesky to guys like that. If he can start hitting 3’s he can easily be a successful SF for us.
Theis had ONE rebound in almost 30 minutes. Dude has been a disappointment as starter thus far, had such high hopes.
