ClutchFans Game Thread: Heat @ Rockets 10/7/2021 (Preseason)

I need to see some more P&R with KPJ and Wood.

 

So judging from preseason so far the new Clutchfans whipping boys are House and Wood, with a small side of hate for Daniel Theis?

Wood honestly doesn't have any lateral moves. It's just down hill stuff.

 

I mean that’s how he’s getting paid. If he was your third or fourth option that’d be pretty solid.

 

green really does play like a young kobe, very inefficient.

 

That’s a hellova knee injury.

 

I had more fun watching Sengun and Green and Jaygup in SL.

 

EG’s still #1 for me, but Wood will quickly take his spot once he’s finally gone if he keeps up the BS

House to me is just comedy relief

 

Anybody notice the Heat have a dollar store version of Green on the floor

I'm not sure you are understanding the point of the argument. No one is arguing that muscles don't shrink and lose area as they age - the muscles that make someone strong are ALSO responsible for their quickness, speed, jumping height, etc. The question is whether normal muscle aging impacts one skill more quickly than another. I don't know the science behind it, but anecdotally it is very obvious that most people lose speed, athleticism, and quickness before strength - you see it in the pros, you see it when you play ball recreationally....and when people say strength in basketball terms, they aren't referring to how much they can bench, we are talking about when two bodies collide, which prevails and as guards go, Lowry IS one of the stronger guards in the league.

 

I’m not speaking from experience tho lol

 

We need to trade Wood while he has some value.

He’s not getting big money here that’s for sure. stone is sitting back taking this all in - he ain’t a part of the future.

 

At least be competitive against their 2nd / 3rd unit.

 

Finally took House out. But he's our leading rebounder. Oh noes. And his replacement Nwaba daba doo comes in and throws it out of bounds. Nice.
